Hi! I’m Sarah – glad you’re here!
I’m a true blue Minnesotan with a passion for travel. After 15 years of packing my suitcase and backpack for destinations close to home and across the big pond, it’s time to share some of my experiences and turned my passion for travel into a full-time profession.
As a professional Travel Advisor with Travel Leaders, I specialize in creating custom itineraries that blend meaningful experiences with seamless planning. Whether it’s a multi-country adventure through Europe, a family-friendly beach escape, or a milestone celebration trip, I bring a deep knowledge of destinations, logistics, and insider insight to every journey I help plan. My goal? To help you travel better – with less stress, more joy, and memories you’ll want to relive again and again.
This blog is where I share stories from my own travels and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. I hope it inspires you to dream big, travel often, and pack your life with unforgettable moments.

My hunky husband and I are 50-somethings that have been bit, HARD, by the travel bug- with no cure in sight! When we aren’t scheming on a new trip destination, we’re tromping around Ireland, hiking in Chamonix, or cruising the rivers of Europe with our friends, families and now you!
What I love about travel? Floating Saunas with amazing views, ancient ruins of unfathomable age, and meeting new people in any language. Travel will have you jump into a fjord of unknown depths, chatting 1/2 naked with strangers, and gets your 79yo Mother in a bathing suit.
Travel is my encouraging older sister that says “get out there, be bold, and hells yes! jump into a salty fjord.”
Travel has taught me to always expect the unexpected and roll with it! It’s in these moments where I personally grow the most, and you know– it will always make for a great story!
I spend months researching each trip – it doesn’t matter if it’s our own, or hosted. And that’s why you are here, too. I hope our experience can enhance your own. That in some tidbit or tip we’ve made your own trip one to remember – packed with memories. Cheers!
